How we pick products

Every product we recommend goes through a consistent evaluation process. We start with measurements — width, depth, and height down to the inch — because a desk that’s two inches too deep can make or break a studio layout. From there we look at build quality, assembly difficulty, renter-friendliness, and real value for the price.

We flag tradeoffs clearly. If a floating shelf needs drywall anchors that leave holes, we say so. If a storage cart looks great but wobbles on uneven floors, that’s in the review. Our goal is to give you enough detail to make a confident decision before anything shows up at your door.
